Had a trial marriage of 1.5 years and escaped. Kept teaching but moved to Cleveland for the culture. Left Cleveland because of the weather and moved to where I wanted to LIVE: OREGON. Fell in love with the light and scenery (1 hour from the Ocean and 1 hour from the 'actual snow-capped' Mountains), the weather (summer is dry and hot in the day, cool at night... while the winter is wet but never too cold) A teaching collegue from Ohio fell in love with Oregon (and me too) and we lived happily ever after... at least for the last 27 years.
